Our Classes

Functional Training

Our Functional Training and Joint Mobility classes are designed to challenge joints in our body to move through its full range of motion, thus increasing joint mobility. By addressing shortened connective tissues in muscles, joint capsules, and ligaments this can increase and maintain mobility. This type of mobility training is based on movement and motor control; a combination of both flexibility and strength.

Assisted Stretching

Our Assisted Stretching class is a private session that will address muscle tightness and imbalances in the body. Stretching is extremely beneficial to alleviate muscular tension, increase flexibility, while improving posture and balance. This class type will also work to reduce stress levels in your body allowing blood and oxygen to circulate efficiently.

Mat Pilates

Our Mat Pilates sessions are offered for both private and in a small group setting. Mat Pilates is core focused using lever work movements, to help stabilize deep core muscles, as well as; tone your body, improve strength and balance, enhance the muscle mind-connection, and improve your total body coordination.

Myofascial Release Technique

In addition to our Assisted Stretching, we also offer Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, Cupping and Percussion Technique. The Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Massage is one of a number of manual therapy approaches that uses instruments with a specialized form of massage/scraping the skin gently. Cupping Technique can generally be described as a technique that uses cups placed over the skin to create negative pressure through suction. Lastly, Percussion Technique is a type of physical therapy that uses repeated bursts of pressure to massage muscles, offering more specific control over the targeted muscle.

At Dynamic Balance, one of our specialties involves programming for and training our geriatric community. These sessions are also offered both in a small group setting and private sessions. Geriatric Training is designed to promote bone density, help stay active safely, and prevent falls. This type of training is perfect for any fitness level, whether you are very active or sedentary we can provide a solution to increase mobility.
